Day 20: #BlogLikeCrazy – Talk Nice to Me
Aye, we are twenty whole days into #BlogLikeCrazy so I found it super timely to love on you a bit.
Yes, Y-O-U.
The person who works tirelessly to love on and serve others.
The person who is super hard on themselves when truly, you’re doing a great job!
The person who doesn’t give themselves enough grace.
You see, today’s #BlogLikeCrazy segment is entitled “Talk Nice to Me” because we forget to provide ourselves with affirmations that speak life over us.
We encourage those around us so much but when we’re having a tough day, we forget to recite those same things to ourselves.
As we prepare for a holiday week and as we prepare for the week in general, we are going to be very intentional about how we talk to ourselves.
Talk Nice to Me is dedicated to Y-O-U.
So, REPEAT after me.
I am walking into this week with peace, happiness, and love. I may not be where I want to be, but I am thankful for all that I have.
I am healthy, I am in my right mind, I can take care of myself, I am supported, I am loved.
I am strong and courageous and even when it does not feel like it, I am defying the odds.
I am wealthy, not just in a monetary sense, but I carry the wealth of life, of knowledge, of strength, of love, of peace, of joy, of calmness, and stability, wherever I go.
I am stable in my finances, I will not overspend, I am disciplined, I am sure, I am confident.
I am loved. I am supported. I am peace and joy. I have purpose, for I know the plans God has for me are for good.
I am valued, I am the Head and Not the Tail, I am ABOVE, and NOT beneath.
I am wife/husband, I am a mother/father. I will speak life into myself, daily. I am proud of where I’ve been and even more proud of where I’m going.
I will not sell myself short, I am not overlooked. I will trust in God’s timing.
I am loved, I am supported. I am a Pearl of Great Price. I am strong and courageous. I believe in me. I LOVE ME.
My life has purpose. I will make a difference in this world. I will challenge myself to go beyond what makes me comfortable.
I will trust my decisions and my ability to hear God’s voice well. I am a mother/father. I am safe. I am protected.
I am secure. I am confident in who God has created me to be. I am loved, I am valued. I will love well.
I am NOT my past decisions nor mistakes. There is purpose for me here. I will NOT give up. I will keep swimming, I will keep trying.
I will keep my head up, I will not be distracted with negativity. I will speak life over myself because I am the head and not the tail, I am above and not beneath.
I am the Lender and NOT the Borrower.
I am a Child of the Most High God. His plans for me are real and His WILL NOT return to me void.
I am strong and courageous, and my fears will not keep me bound. I will make myself a priority.
I will take care of me. I will be responsible with what I am given. I am an excellent steward over my finances.
I will not be afraid to ask for help. I will not hide. I am confident. I am loved. I am secure and I am safe. My life has value. My life has purpose.
I will trust my judgement, I will steward this life well. I LOVE ME.
The message of “Talk Nice to Me” is simple.
We have the ability to change the way we think by changing what we speak.
If you fill your mind with unfavorable thoughts, that is what you will believe.
If you swarm your mind with negativity and thoughts of what could go wrong, that is what you will believe.
Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
Therefore, we have the ability, even if it is difficult, to CHANGE the way we think by changing what we speak.
For every negative or unfavorable thought, find a truth or positive statement to REPLACE it with.
Write down the truths and positivity and recite them over yourself DAILY.
Until Next Time, #KeyInspires
